According to the NSIP ( National Service Inclusion Project) there are an estimated 49.9 million people with a disability in the United States.
Yet, we are routinely ignored by the mainstream media. This can leave many people with disabilities feeling depressed and frustrated.
We have the same interest as our abled bodied counterparts and only wish for the acceptance and inclusion that they receive.
It’s time to show the world that women with disabilities are beautiful and that we matter. It’s time to stand out from the crowd and make the world see our value.
